Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street’s Carl Webster has a target on his back next week when he makes himself even more unpopular among the residents of Weatherfield.

Fed up with being hated, Carl decides to get his own back on his enemies – could this backfire and cost him his life? He’s one of the ‘fatal five’ who could be killed off by the end of the week…

“When your own mother pays you to get lost, that’s a big hint nobody likes you,” declares our Corrie source.

“Being rejected by Debbie is the last straw for Carl, so with nothing to lose, he does something that could have catastrophic consequences – possibly for himself…”

Distraught Debbie admits to Kevin and Ronnie that she gave Carl a wad of cash and told him to leave town forever. It’s tough for Deb, but Carl has caused too much misery and she knows he has to go.

Nobody’s in a hurry to wish cruel Carl a fond farewell – in fact, they can’t wait until he’s gone! Feeling hard done by, despite knowing deep down how badly he’s behaved, Carl lashes out at those he’s hurt during his final hours in Weatherfield.

Ex-lover Abi Webster makes it clear she regrets throwing away her marriage for him, then there’s a testosterone-fuelled confrontation with rival Theo Silverton, and a bitter exchange with Tyrone Dobbs, who Carl nearly killed in a hit and run.
