Troy Parrott has enjoyed a breakthrough season for club as well as country, but on Sunday he joined an exclusive club.
In helping AZ Alkmaar win the Dutch Cup, where he scored once and also came up with an assist in a 5-1 defeat of NEC Nijmegen, Parrott not only won a first senior medal of his club career but also made it onto the list of Irish players who have won a major trophy with a continental club.
