A Sligo intercounty footballer has pleaded guilty at Sligo Circuit Court to numerous theft charges related to his time working with the HSE.
Cian Lally (28), Drum Road, Rathcormack, Co Sligo is charged that on 25 various dates between December 12 2021 and May 28 2023 at Rusheen House, Doonally, Ballygawley Co Sligo, he did use an instrument to wit, support worker timesheet in the name of Cian Lally which was a false instrument with the intention of inducing another person to accept it as genuine.
