The old farmhouse at Horetown, Killinick, Co Wexford, just sold for €165,000 at auction.
Quinne Property in Wexford were celebrating a big win for a client recently, after seeing an old, run-down farmhouse in rural Wexford sell for €165,000 at auction – €25,000 above the initial guide price.
From the very outset the auctioneer stated that the property at Horetown, Killinick was in need of a significant amount of work, noting that it was eligible for the Vacant Property Refurbishment Grant.
