Slaney Search and Rescue has defended its actions during the flooding in Enniscorthy during Storm Chandra after it was suggested the reason behind a garda complaint centred on the lack of civilian lifejackets.
When the banks of the River Slaney broke in Enniscorthy during Storm Chandra earlier this year, volunteer members of Slaney Search and Rescue were quick to come to the aid of residents trapped in their flooded homes.
