All-Ireland Senior Céilí Band champions set to release debut album

Current All-Ireland Senior Céilí Band champions Glór na dTonn are set to release their debut album ‘Come West Along The Road – An Bóthar Siar’ on Friday, May 1.
In August 2025, the band, which includes ten members from Mayo and Sligo, secured the coveted title at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann.
Their new album features fourteen tracks, a mix of traditional music and songs. ‘Come West Along The Road – An Bóthar Siar’ will be available to purchase online via Bandcamp from its release date, as well as at upcoming launches, concerts, and céilís.

Glór na dTonn will officially launch the album with a special concert at Ballina Arts Centre on Friday, May 8, as part of the Mayo Fleadh Cheoil. Bofield Harp Ensemble will support the band on the night. Tickets are available now from ballinaartscentre.com or by phone at 096 73593.
