High-level Kinahan gang member Sean McGovern considered targeting a rival’s daughter two days after being shot and injured in the Regency Hotel attack, the Special Criminal Court has heard.

The 40-year-old, who used the nickname ‘Knife’ in encrypted gang communications, is being sentenced for directing a crime organisation involved in the murder of an innocent grandfather and in targeting opposing criminal James ‘Mago’ Gately as part of the Hutch/Kinahan feud.
