Coronation Street spoilers for next week have revealed Todd Grimshaw’s future on the cobbles.
Recently, after enduring horrific abuse at the hands of husband Theo Silverton and courageously reporting him to the police, Todd arranged to visit his mum Eileen and brother Jason in Thailand.
During Monday’s episode, Todd tried to depart for Thailand but sinister ex Theo had different intentions. The instalment, which rewound to the day of the whodunnit where Theo is amongst five possible victims, showed Theo breaking into the shop flat he previously shared with Todd.
Upon hearing a loud crash, Todd initially saw nothing, but it was quickly revealed that Theo had smashed through the window and was lying in wait for him, clutching his packed bags for Thailand.

As the situation turned violent, fortunately, George Shuttleworth appeared at just the right moment and the pair managed to overpower Theo and flee from the flat, reports the Daily Star.
Soon after, Todd and George alerted DC Kit Green about Theo, but he couldn’t be located at the flat. Desperate to get away, Todd jumped into a taxi heading for the airport, only to realise he had forgotten his phone, forcing him to stop and go back for it.
Yet, as he walked back along the street, he came face-to-face with Theo, who was holding the phone. Meanwhile, Betsy and Lauren Bolton hopped into Todd’s waiting cab, wanting to head into town as it departed, leaving Todd isolated and confronting Theo.
Friday’s episode will witness all plotlines collide as Todd embarks on a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse in a bid to outsmart a vengeful Theo, with poor old Summer Spellman finding herself trapped in the crossfire with terrifying consequences.

Amidst the tense and gripping scenes, soap fans have been left fretting over Todd’s fate. However, there’s no need for concern as next week’s spoilers confirm Todd remains on the cobbles.
In forthcoming scenes, Todd struggles to put behind him the ordeal he endured at Theo’s hands, confiding in George that he feels furious Theo has escaped any accountability for his behaviour.
Later in the week, Theo’s former wife, Danielle, approaches Todd requesting a conversation about Theo.
Danielle, who had previously denied Theo was abusive, concedes she knows first hand what Theo can be like, with the pair forming a connection over their shared suffering.
