Lucky passengers got away with no injuries this morning after a car, a bus and a Luas collided in south Dublin.
The crash happened near Bluebell Luas stop on the Naas Road just before 8am. The incident involved a car, a Luas tram, and a number 13 Dublin Bus.
The road was closed for much of the morning, with Luas Red Line services also suspended between the Red Cow and Heuston as a result. Things reopened just before 10am this morning.
Miraculously, there were no serious injuries to report. A garda spokesman said: “Gardaí and emergency services attended a road traffic collision on the Naas Road, Bluebell, Dublin 12, this morning Wednesday 29th April 2026.
“The collision involved a car, a bus and a Luas and occurred at approximately 7:50am. The road has since fully reopened.
“No injuries have been reported at this time.”
