At the bottom of the garden, the little girl saw the wellies first. Eileen Walsh was six, maybe seven, and had already checked the usual places.
“I’m the youngest of six, and my job every evening was to go and get Granda and call him in for dinner. Sometimes he’d be up in his room, and he was obviously very fervent, so he might be praying… or if not, then he would be inevitably down in the garden.
