RTE will have Champions League matches next year
RTÉ and Premier Sports will have access to Champions League football from next year, but Virgin Media are the losers in terms of Irish audiences as UEFA have announced details of their broadcast deals.
UEFA have allocated broadcast rights across their member states from 2027–2031 and confirmed today that Premier Sports, who broadcast from Dublin, will have “first pick” access for Tuesday night games, with a highlights package and also the Champions League final.
