On April 28, Syensqo (Brussels, Belgium) signed a new long-term supply agreement with Avio SpA (Rome, Italy), in which Syensqo will supply ablative materials, resin transfer molding (RTM) resins and adhesive materials for demanding space applications.

These solutions will support Avio’s launch vehicle programs, including Vega-C, Europe’s multi-mission launch vehicle capable of delivering payloads to a variety of orbital destinations, and contribute to reliable mission performance.

Engineered to withstand extreme thermal and mechanical stresses, Syensqo’s materials are used in critical components such as rocket motor nozzles, exit cones and structural elements, where durability and performance are essential. “As momentum builds in the global space sector, our advanced materials help enable reliable and efficient launch systems for a wide range of missions,” says Rodrigo Elizondo, president of Syensqo Composite Materials. Syensqo has been a trusted partner with Avio for many years.
