Police officers have released CCTV images of a group of people they wish to speak to following a theft in Kettering.
Police are on the hunt for shameless ‘dine and dashers’ who racked up a bill of over £500 at Miller & Carter. Officers have released CCTV images of individuals they wish to speak after the incident at a Kettering branch.
On April 6, a group of diners enjoyed a meal at the eatery between 5pm and 7.10pm, racking up a hefty £539.70 food and drink bill before making off without paying. The restaurant is highly rated on Google and is well known for its 30-day aged British and Irish steaks, The Mirror reports.
A Northamptonshire Police statement said: “The incident happened at the Miller & Carter restaurant on Monday, April 6, between 5pm and 7.10pm, when a group of people ordered £539.70 worth of food and drink, and then left without making payment.
“The people in the images could assist police with their enquiries so they, or anyone who recognises them, should call Northamptonshire Police on 101. Please quote incident number 26000213409 when passing on any information to make sure it gets to the right person as quickly as possible.”
It is not the first time this branch of Miller & Carter has been left with unpaid bills. On March 27, two men left the restaurant without without settling up.
The pair had indulged in a lunchtime meal between 2pm and 3.10pm before walking out of the popular restaurant chain. Two weeks later, cops shared images of the men in the hopes of finding the supposed suspects.
