Counties Leitrim, Donegal and Sligo can expect some thunderstorms for a time, as the warning is currently in place until 6pm on Saturday.

Mixed weather is in store for this Bank Holiday weekend, with rain and possible thunderstorms expected in parts of the country, but some sunny spells might appear too.
“The weather will be mixed over the Bank Holiday weekend with showers at times,” said Met Éireann meteorologist Gerry Murphy on daily weather podcast on Friday.
“Saturday will bring a good deal of cloud and some scattered showers to most areas,” he added.

The Bank Holiday weekend has started with a cloudy Saturday, which might see showers becoming frequent and heavier through the afternoon before easing off later in the day.
There is a chance of thunderstorms, especially over the western half of the country, however some sunny spells might appear too.
“It will be slightly cooler with highs of 12 to 16C and light southerly breezes,” Mr Murphy said.

The showers will continue on Saturday night, most likely in Ulster and Connacht, but they will generally die out.
There will be a mixture of cloudy and clear weather at first, with some mist and fog as well as rain and drizzle in the southeast.
Temperatures on Saturday night are set to drop to 5 and 10C, Met Éireann said.
Sunday will be another cloudy day, but some sunny spells will develop as the day goes on, especially in Connacht and Ulster.
There will be some showers during the day, with more persistent rain and drizzle expected in the southeast.
Temperatures will range between 10 and 16C, remaining the coolest in the southeast and warmest in Connacht.
Meanwhile, Bank Holiday Monday is likely to be cloudy and dry, with limited sunny spells and some possible light rain or drizzle.
The highest temperatures will range between 11 and 14C, staying the coolest in the north and warmest in the south.
Looking at the days ahead, Met Éireann said it will be cool for the time of year.
However, even though it will be quite cloudy at times, there will be plenty of dry weather for at least the first half of next week, the national forecaster said.
