Customers of well known Kilkenny cafe targeted by criminal activity

A much-loved Kilkenny artisan bakery, cafe and bistro has warned customers over bogus vouchers being sold online in their name.

“Just a quick heads up, we’re currently not selling vouchers online through any third-party sites,” the local cafe posted on social media.

“Unfortunately, someone has used our logo to create an account without our permission, so we just want to keep you all in the loop.

“If you’re ever unsure, feel free to pop us a message before purchasing. We’re always happy to help,” the post added.

“You’ve already purchased a voucher through one of these pages. We recommend contacting your bank or card provider to request a chargeback.

“Thanks so much for looking out for us and for all your support, as always,” the post concluded.
