One in 10 children had to go without their medication to control asthma in the past three months because their parents could not afford to buy it, a new survey reveals today.
It comes as worrying figures show that over that the past year, more than one-third of children with asthma have been hospitalised because of the condition, with one in seven having to be admitted twice.
