An appeal has been submitted against planning permission granted for a large-scale solar farm and battery storage units covering 162 acres in west Wicklow.
Wicklow Renewables was granted permission by Wicklow County Council for the construction of the development in the townland of Mullycagh Upper, between Hollywood and Donard villages. The operational lifetime of the development will be 40 years.
