A Wicklow artist has marked Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday with a stunning mural in Arklow, Co Wicklow, in support of the legendary broadcaster’s message of protecting the natural world.
The veteran environmentalist, who celebrated the milestone on Friday, May 8, said he was “completely overwhelmed” by the messages he has received all week, but was probably not expecting a mural to be created in his honour in a coastal town in County Wicklow.
