Concerns have been raised over the condition of the popular Tony Socks Byrne sculpture at Scotch Hall following reports of visible damage to the statue in memory of the 1956 MelbourneOlympic bronze medal winning boxer.
Debbie McCole said she contacted Louth County Council after becoming aware of what appeared to be cracks and damage around the feet of the sculpture.
