Jeremy Doku to score or assist

It’s Jeremy Doku’s third season in English football and he’s finally blossoming into the player that he has the potential to be. He’s arguably City’s player of the season, but he’s almost certainly the reason that they’re still in the title race.

Erling Haaland might have 26 league goals and eight assists, but Doku has played at an incredibly high level since the turn of the year, particularly since returning from the March international break. Since then, he’s scored five goals and two assists in seven games for his club, with either a goal or an assist in his past four games.

Jeremy Doku to be fouled 3 or more times

Doku came to Manchester with pace to burn and a bag of tricks, but he’s really putting it together now and it’s terrifying defenders. Doku ranks third in the Premier League for fouls won per 90 minutes, averaging 3.19 during his time with City. With everything running through him, he’s yet again going to be integral to City getting three points.

Over the past four Premier League games, he’s drawn 18 fouls, an average of 4.5 per game. With 10 alone in the past two games against Brentford and Everton, given the player that he’s going to be up against, Daniel Munoz, he should have three or more at least.

Daniel Munoz to be shown a card

Crystal Palace’s fullback Daniel Munoz has had another great season for the South London club and is perhaps putting himself in the shop window for a big move. The Colombian leads his team in fouls, with 34, and an average of 1.4 per 90 minutes on the field.

Munoz also leads the Palace squad, tied with Will Hughes, in bookings, with seven yellow cards to his name in 26 matches. Nobody in the Premier League is drawing fouls like Doku right now and this matchup is ripe for a booking.

Ismaila Sarr 2+ shots

Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta leads the way in terms of shots per game, but just behind him is Isamaila Sarr, with the wideman averaging 2.01 shots per 90 minutes played across the season.

Sarr has had two or more shots in his past seven away starts in the Premier League, as well as his past seven starts for the club, home or away, across all competitions. He also comes into this fresh from a strong performance against Everton, getting half of his six shots on target, and bagging a goal too.

Away Team – Under 0.5 goals

With the Conference League final two weeks away, it’s highly unlikely that we will see Crystal Palace rest players. However, with Premier League safety secured, you wouldn’t blame the players if they had their minds on that big night ahead in Leipzig. With that in mind, it’s hard to imagine Palace playing at their absolute, most motivated, best.

Contrast that to City, who will be fighting for the Premier League title, and this should be a home win for Pep Guardiola’s team. City has the second-best defensive record in the league, conceding fewer than one goal per game, with 32 in 35 matches. They’ve kept eight clean sheets at home in the league, and have averaged just 8.9 shots against at the Etihad this season.
