Tom Cannon says he will focus on the goals he scored and not the hat-trick he missed out on after he finally made his mark at international level.
The Sheffield United striker made an immediate impact as a half-time sub for Ireland in Saturday’s 5-0 win over Grenada in Murcia as he scored right after his arrival and then added a second goal, though the 23-year-old could potentially have joined Jack Moylan on a hat-trick as a series of efforts were blocked or saved.
