A man in his 30s is in a critical condition after a serious assault in north county Dublin.
He was found unconscious on Mill Road in Blanchardstown shortly after 4.20pm today and was rushed to hospital.
He is being treated for his injuries in Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown, where he remains in a critical condition.
A garda spokeserson said: “Gardaí in Blanchardstown are investigating a serious assault that occurred in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 on Sunday 17th May 2026. “Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward. Anyone who was in the vicinity of Mill Road, Blanchardstown or Blanchardstown village during the hours of 4:00pm and 4:30pm on Sunday 17th May 2026 and who may have camera footage—including dash-cam footage—is asked to make this available to investigating Gardaí.”
