Una Healy hit a personal milestone this week, as she celebrated ‘five months off the booze.’

The singer celebrated the day with an ice-cream cone, later following up to reveal she had a huge response at her revelation.

Speaking online on Tuesday, Una detailed she had been asked if her abstinence was difficult and/or long-term.

The Tipperary native shared: ‘Those of you who know me know I’ve quit [alcohol], but I just said I’d put it out there because it’s just easier when you’re asked like: “What are you having to drink?”‘

Una went on to admit that going booze-free has been ‘hard’ and it ‘sometimes feels like you’re missing out.’

One thing she isn’t missing in the slightest, though? ‘That rotten hangover [and] feeling sh**e.’

Touching on whether she is planning on remaining off alcohol long-term, Una confirmed she ‘hoped so.’

She explained: ‘I’m grateful for every day, and if it’s one day without feeling like sh*t because of drink, then bring it on.’

It comes not long after the mum-of-two revealed she wasn’t ‘gonna settle for anyone‘ as she gave a fresh glimpse into her love life.

Speaking to The Sun last month, Una revealed she had went on a few dates with fellow musiciain Flynn, but was ‘very happy on my own right now.’

She went on to share that she had been ‘on and off’ celebrity dating app Raya ‘a few times’ but branded it a ‘swamp.’

‘I’m working hard on myself,’ Una said, ‘I’m not looking at all.’

Before her short-lived romance with Flynn, Una dated Cork-born jockey Aidan Coleman.

Their relationship came to an end in February 2025.

Una then threw herself into filming for Netflix reality show Celebrity Bear Hunt, which appeared to be a good distraction for the singer.
