Irish KATSEYE fans are prepping for chaos this Thursday when general tickets to see the girl group’s world tour in Dublin go on sale.

The six-member K-pop-inspired band, which was formed during the 2023 season of reality competition series Dream Academy, is set to perform in the 3Arena on Tuesday, 1 September.

Plenty of hopeful fans were left disheartened ahead of today’s general release when they tried to secure pre-sale tickets to the hotly anticipated gig.

Several people rushed to social media to voice their frustration, with a few complaining that the pre-sale link they had been sent wasn’t working.

Others reported that TicketMaster’s website crashed. ‘Lost the KATSEYE ticket war,’ one fan penned. ‘I give up.’

Another wrote: ‘Failed the KATSEYE WILDWORLD TOURR ticket sale so badly that I will unfortunately just have to be shaking shake in the parking lot because I won’t be in the arena.’

For fans lucky enough to secure tickets to the gig, they could have paid anything from €62.35 to €347.85 including booking fee, depending on where they were positioned in the arena.

KATSEYE has amassed global success since they were first put together. The ladies are known for their hit song Touch, which they released in 2024 as part of their debut EP, SIS (Soft Is Strong).

Dublin is in for a K-Pop takeover when the ladies touch down in the capital city in September.

According to promoter MCD, general onsale for tour tickets begins Thursday, May 21, at 3:00 PM local time. Good luck if you’re trying!
