Limerick will be looking for a win to make it into the Munster Final.

Limerick and Tipperary face off in the final round of the Munster Senior Hurling Championship.
With a topsy-turvy championship so far, there are three Munster Final combinations that we could end up with; Cork v Clare, Cork v Limerick or Clare v Limerick.
Cork are currently in first place, followed by Limerick and then Clare. A draw for Cork would secure their place in the Munster Final.
If Limerick want to make the final they will need a win over fourth place Tipperary. But if Clare beat Cork, it will go down to score difference between the three top teams. Limerick can make the final if Clare lose and if Clare and Limerick both draw, thanks to Limericks win over the Banner County earlier in the group.
Reigning champions Tipperary are already out of the Hurling All Ireland, following a sour season with two defeats and a draw to Waterford. If they lose this match by five or more points they will drop down to fifth, below the Déise.
