The 43-year-old future King joined presenters Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden to talk about a number of subjects and topics, including royal work, the Isles of Scilly, and family life. As well as talking about his wife, Princess Catherine, William also made some revelations about the couple’s children, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, eight. This included revelations about what they are like on the way to school.
As well as talking about how chaotic the school run can be, especially before leaving their Forest Lodge home in the morning, William also spoke about what snacks the young royals tend to like to have in the car.
William said jam sandwiches seem to be a preferred snack for his children to enjoy in the car, before going on to reveal how Prince Louis then tends to leave a mess.
The prince, while beaming, said: “There’s a lot of jam sandwiches taken in the car, usually.
“Louis is very kind. He’ll leave jam fingerprints throughout the car, which is really helpful.”
However, this is only set to be the case for a few more weeks, as Prince George’s time at Lambrook will come to an end and he will move on to a secondary school facility.
It is believed other schools were, and could still be, in the running for top choice, including Princess Catherine’s former school, Marlborough College.
