Three vehicles were involved in the road crash

Emergency services are attending the scene of a serious road crash on the outskirts of Dundalk.

It happened in the Dunmahon area on the old Dundalk/Ardee Road around 12.30pm.

Initial reports suggest that two motorbikes and a jeep are involved.

Gardaí, fire and rescue personnel and the National Ambulance Service are attending the scene.

It’s understood the R215 – the old Ardee Dundalk Road, is closed from Martin’s Cross to the junction with the L3168, off the Junction 16 of the M1 (Dundalk South).
