The RTE Today Show star has confirmed that he is off the market and is in a very happy relationship as he opened up about the pair meeting each other’s families

James Patrice is off the market as he recently revealed he is in a relationship.
The broadcaster and social media star shared that his new beau also works in television and the pair have known each other for two years.
However, they just got together recently.
“As someone who’s been perpetually single for a number of years, I am seeing someone now. I’m in a relationship. It’s not a woman; shock, horror, I am queer,” he laughed.
“There’s a man in my life and he’s a really lovely person. He works in TV as well. He’s a great man. I’ve known him for two years, but we only got together over the last while and it’s going great. I haven’t posted him online, but will when the time is right. I’m happy out.”
Speaking to VIP Magazine, James added that the pair have met each other’s families and survived to tell the tale.
“He met the whole gang!” he said. “It was a baptism of fire. It was one of Fron’s famous Sunday dinners and he survived. I met his family as well and they’re lovely. That’s the big obstacle, meeting the parents and it’s done. So far, so good!”
James is a public figure and much loved on social media, but admitted it has been great to keep his romance private.
“I think so, definitely,” he said. “It’s great to have some things just for your own personal enjoyment and journey. You don’t want or need to put everything online.”
James has also said that the pair met a couple of years ago, fell out of contact and then reconnected.
“We had known each other through TV, and we had texted a bit at the time. He will blame me when he reads this for not texting him back. I contest that profusely,” he told Goss.ie.
“But then we reconnected a few months ago, and now we’re in a relationship! And it’s all going well. He’s a really great person.”
