A stunning model from Cork is now engaged to a Premier League footballer after he proposed at sunset.
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Conor Gallagher more than made up for his disappointment at missing out on a spot on the World Cup squad by proposing to partner Aine May Kennedy. He got down on one knee in Mallorca last week, and the delighted pair posted photographs on Instagram – with Aine penning: “Forever, living my Blair Waldorf dream.”
Gallagher meanwhile added: “Here’s to forever – 10.06.2026.”
Who is Aine May Kennedy?
Aine, 29, finished in the top 10 of the Miss Universe Ireland pageant back in 2017. She is a model and dancer from County Cork where her family run the Kades Kounty pub in the village of Glenville.
Her dad, Barry, previously opened up to the Sunday World about how Aine met his future son-in-law.

He revealed: “She was going to college. They were all in the one scene. He was in the Chelsea Academy. They were all only 17 or 18 when they were going to the same places and met up.”
Barry joked that Gallagher, who represented England at Euro 2024, could have been eligible to play for Ireland because of his family ties to County Donegal.
And as for whether he ever believed his daughter would be a WAG, he laughed: “I didn’t, sure that’s the way it goes.”
Glenville native Aine left Cork behind to follow a dream of becoming a dancer in London where Pulse Model Agency signed her up.
This led to her doing fashion shoots before she started to date then Chelsea academy footballer Conor Gallagher. She now has 64,8000 Instagram followers and after Gallagher became Chelsea first team captain she was sometimes snapped treating herself to boutiques on Sloane Street.

After one match at Stamford Bridge, she wrote online: “Another year. My best friend. I am so proud of everything you achieve. Watching you become captain, and what it meant to you this year was speechless. All the ups and downs. Yes this year has been one of the best.”
She has been dating Gallagher for almost eight years now and moved to Spain with him in 2024 when Atletico Madrid signed the player.
In the same year, Gallagher went with Aine to Croke Park to watch Cork play in the All-Ireland hurling final against Clare.

Gallagher is now back in the capital with Spurs and after he signed with the North London team in January she posted a picture from the pitch and wrote: “London we are back.”
Earlier this year, when Gallagher turned 27, Aine shared a selfie where she posed with her partner and their dog, Freddy, and wrote: “Happy Birthday Con. Not enough days in the world could celebrate you. We love you.”
Gallagher replied: “Love you so much.”
And after announcing their recent announcement, singer Marvin Humes wrote: “Congratulations guys, amazing news.”
