The newest Green Lantern has arrived! After previously confirming in April that Season 3 of the DC animated hit My Adventures With Superman would introduce Jessica Cruz, the latest member of the Green Lantern Corps, before sending her off on her own spin-off adventure, Entertainment Weekly has now confirmed who will be playing her. Auli’i Cravalho, best known as the voice behind Disney’s Moana, will don the ring in Episode 2 of the Clark Kent-centric show and lead the forthcoming My Adventures With Green Lantern when it premieres. Additionally, EW shared the first look at the young recipient and some new details about what her series will entail.

My Adventures With Superman will reimagine Cruz a bit from her DC Comics counterpart. While the character was already notable for being the first human woman to join the Green Lantern Corps, in the world of the Adult Swim series, she stands out for being a shy high school teenager who literally has the Power Ring fall into her lap. She’s chosen to be its champion, but much like My Adventures With Superman begins following Clark as he starts out as Superman and grapples with what his role as Metropolis’ hero means, My Adventures With Green Lantern will focus on what the weight of the Ring’s abilities means for a girl experiencing otherwise typical teenage anxieties and responsibilities. Moreover, the spin-off will force her to rise to the occasion as it introduces a new Lantern Corps and sees the effects of their war and their alien enemies begin to reach Earth.

Before becoming Earth’s new champion, though, viewers will first meet her as a very typical outside observer who, if the images are any indication, is a big fan of Superman and Supergirl. The two shots from My Adventures With Superman show her in a shirt emblazoned with the Man and Woman of Steel’s signature S, and she appears to have a question for Kara (Kiana Madeira), who’s sitting down for a talk show interview. Speaking to EW, showrunner Jake Wyatt, who’s working on both My Adventures series, revealed her introduction will serve to help further Supergirl’s development after she decides to follow in her brother’s footsteps. It’ll be a showcase of both sides of the hero, from how she inspires others and how she sees parts of herself in the people moved by her actions.

“We’d already planned for the second episode to showcase how Supergirl, in particular, was changing their world. We wanted to look at how different people had very different reactions to the same Kryptonian. So when word came down from the brass that Green Lantern was greenlit, we wanted our pre-Lantern Jessica Cruz to give us the girl-on-the-street view of Supergirl. How would a shy, relatively powerless teenager see this powerful, young super-woman out there changing the world? And what would it be like for Supergirl to see herself through Jess’s eyes?”

Queens, New York

🕷️ Spider-Man

You carry the weight of the world on shoulders that are younger than they should have to be — funny, loyal, and endlessly self-sacrificing.

You do the right thing not because it’s easy, but because no one else will.
You understand that responsibility isn’t a burden you choose — it’s one that finds you.
Whether it’s a neighbourhood mugging or a multiverse crisis, you show up.
Peter Parker’s lesson — that great power demands great responsibility — isn’t a slogan to you. It’s the code you live by, even when it costs you everything.

Hell’s Kitchen, New York

😈 Daredevil

You fight in the shadows between law and chaos, guided by a fierce moral compass that refuses to let the guilty walk free.

You use every tool available — your mind, your body, your faith — to protect those the system overlooks.
You’ve looked into the darkness and chosen not to become it, though the line has never been easy.
Matt Murdock’s duality — champion in the courtroom, devil in the alley — mirrors your own.
Relentless, conflicted, and unwilling to stop. That is exactly you.

Stark Industries, Malibu

🤖 Iron Man

Brilliant, driven, and occasionally insufferable — but always the person who solves the unsolvable problem.

You lead with your mind and back it up with resources, innovation, and a stubbornness that borders on heroic.
You started out looking out for yourself, but somewhere along the way the world became your responsibility.
Tony Stark’s arc — from ego to sacrifice — is your arc too.
You build, you plan, and when the moment comes, you’re willing to give everything. Because in the end, you’re Iron Man.

New York City

💀 The Punisher

You’ve been through fire that would break most people — and it did change you, completely. What’s left is unyielding, relentless, and operating by a code forged in grief.

You don’t ask for forgiveness, and you don’t expect gratitude.
You see a corrupt, broken world and you’ve decided to do something about it, consequences be damned.
Frank Castle’s war is born from love twisted by loss — and so is yours.
Uncompromising and unflinching — the world may not agree with your methods, but your conviction is absolute.

Asgard · Protector of the Nine Realms

⚡ Thor

Powerful, proud, and on a lifelong journey to become worthy of the legend you carry.

You lead with strength but have learned — sometimes painfully — that true greatness comes from humility and growth.
You’re larger than life, yet more vulnerable than you let on.
Thor’s story is one of transformation: from arrogant prince to worthy king, from isolated warrior to beloved protector.
You bring the storm when it’s needed — and the warmth when it matters just as much.

Brooklyn, New York · The Avengers

🛡️ Captain America

You believe in something bigger than yourself — and you fight for it even when the world has moved on and nobody else will.

You don’t bully the small guy, and you never stop when it gets hard.
Steve Rogers didn’t become a hero when he got the serum — he was always one. So were you.
Your strength isn’t in your fists; it’s in your refusal to compromise what’s right, no matter the cost.
In a world full of people taking the easy road, you’re the one who picks up the shield and stands up — every single time.

What’s Next for Clark and Kara in ‘My Adventures With Superman’ Season 3?

While Lantern is still awaiting a full series pickup, My Adventures With Superman is already underway with its third run after the season premiere on Saturday. The series is now tackling the Reign of Superman comic storyline in its own way, introducing other Supermen as Clark (Jack Quaid) and Kara just try to settle down on Earth. Supes hopes to build a life with Lois (Alice Lee), though the latter is concerned about what her future will be as the Daily Planet’s star reporter if she goes down that path. For Kara, meanwhile, the goal is to find a partner like her husband, and she has her eyes set on Jimmy Olsen (Ishmel Sahid), now a rising-star journalist himself. Cravalho will add a bit of extra firepower to the cast, having most recently lent her voice to The Mighty Nein and Zootopia 2.

Cravalho will make her debut as Jessica Cruz in My Adventures With Superman Season 3, Episode 2 this Saturday, June 20, during Toonami on Adult Swim. Check out the first images of the character in the gallery above.
