It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jennifer Kiely, who passed away peacefully on 26th June 2026, surrounded by her loving family, in the exceptional care of the staff at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, Cork. Beloved daughter of Jeremiah (Miah) and Bridget, cherished sister of Kevin and devoted aunt to Amy, Shauna, and Jasmine.
JENNIFER will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her parents, brother, beloved nieces Amy, Shauna, and Jasmine, Kevin’s partner Lisa, Amy’s partner Rachel, Shauna’s fiancé Jack, Jasmine’s partner Zack, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives, friends and her friends and colleagues in the deaf community.
The family would like to take this opportunity to thank all those involved in Jennifer’s care. A special word of thanks to Suzanne and Terence who supported Jennifer and her family through her life and her illness – your time and commitment was very much appreciated.
Predeceased by her uncles Pat and Martin Kiely, Sean, Donal, Tim and Tony O’Rourke and her aunt Mary O’Rourke.
Reposing in Hurley & O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Skibbereen on Sunday, June 28th 2026 from 1pm to 3pm. Cremation Service takes place on Tuesday, June 30th 2026 at 1pm in the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Cork. This will be livestreamed here.
