Lucey (Fornaught, Donoughmore, Co. Cork and formerly of Dulague, Castleisland, Co. Kerry) – On June 27th, 2026, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the exceptional care of the doctors, nurses and staff of the Palliative Care Team at Cork University Hospital, Dan, beloved husband of Margaret (née Twomey) and loving dad of Shane, Darren and Mark. Predeceased by his parents Dónal and Nell.
Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons and their partners Virginia, Soukaina and Orla, brother Jer, sister-in-law, niece, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
Reposing at his home on Monday June 29th from 6.00pm with prayers at 9.00pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday June 30th at 2.00pm in St. Joseph’s Church, Fornaught. Funeral afterwards to the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy. Dan’s Requiem Mass will be live-streamed on mycondolences.ie and his Cremation Service will be live-streamed on The Island Crematorium Live-Stream. Family flowers only.
