A man died in a workplace accident in south Tipperary on Monday this week.
Gardaí and emergency services responded to the fatal accident at a premises in Fethard, Co Tipperary shortly before 5pm on Monday, September 29.
A male in his 60s was pronounced deceased at the scene. His body was removed to Waterford University Hospital where a post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) has been notified and will conduct its own investigation, said gardaí. A file will be prepared for the Coroner.

The HSA said it is aware of the fatal incident and has launched an investigation. “As such, no further information is available at this time,” added a spokesperson.
