Derry City have made a double signing to boost their squad, bringing in midfielder Ellis Chapman from Shelbourne and back-up goalkeeper Tom Norcott from Reading.
Chapman, 25, arrives on a permanent deal. Before his stint at Shels, he played for Sligo Rovers.
Norcott comes in on loan from Reading until the end of the SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division campaign.
The 21-year old finished last season on loan at National League South side Farnborough. He has been on the Royals’ books since 2023.
Norcott will go straight into the squad for the Candystripes’ game at home to Waterford tonight as a deputy for Brian Maher who returns from a broken wrist bone that sidelined him for five months
