A man in his 20s is in a critical condition in hospital after a serious assault in Dublin city.
The incident happened on Hawkins Street, Dublin 2, at around 12.20am.
The man was brought to Beaumont Hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage who were travelling in the area around midnight to come forward.
