A man in his 40s has died following a serious assault in Mulhuddart in Dublin.
The incident occurred in the Parslickstown Drive area at around 3.55am on Friday.
The man was taken to hospital, but has since died.
Gardaí said that the coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
A family liaison officer has been appointed to the man’s family.
