A multi-agency search is continuing for an angler who has been reported missing at Downpatrick Head in Co Mayo.
The Irish Coast Guard said it was alerted early yesterday morning to the missing person.
Downpatrick Head is located approximately 5km north of Ballycastle village, one of the most northerly points in Mayo.
The Marine Rescue Sub Centre at Malin Head tasked the Sligo-based Coast Guard helicopter R118, the fixed-wing aircraft R120F, Killala Coast Guard Unit, Ballyglass Coast Guard Unit and Ballyglass RNLI to assist in the garda-led search.
The Gráinne Uaile Sub Aqua Club and Civil Defence are also involved in the search that is now being coordinated by An Garda Síochána.
