After airing in the US earlier this year, CIA has finally been given a UK release date – and there isn’t long to wait.
The FBI spin-off show stars Tom Ellis (Lucifer) and Nick Gehlfuss (Shameless) as a by-the-book FBI agent and a rule-breaking intelligence officer, and follows their unlikely partnership as they tackle threats to national security.
The series is set to premiere in the UK on Sky Witness and NOW on Thursday 23 July at 9pm, with new episodes dropping weekly.
Alongside Ellis and Gehlfuss, CIA also stars Natalee Linez (Tell Me Lies) and Necar Zadegan (Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce).

The show received an early season 2 renewal back in March while season 1 was still airing in the US.
The official synopsis for the show reads: “When by-the-book FBI Special Agent Bill Goodman (Nick Gehlfuss) is loaned out to a clandestine CIA/FBI task force, he finds himself teamed up with secretive and roguish CIA case officer Colin Glass (Tom Ellis).

“Together they will work covert operations in New York, uncovering international plots, terrorist cells, and geopolitical secrets.
“On CIA, Bill will learn the rules of this murky world on the fly as Colin leads him deeper into spy games where only one thing is clear – their work keeps America safe, even if no one will ever know what they did in the shadows.”
CIA premieres in the UK on CBS on Monday 23 July at 10pm on Sky Witness and NOW, with episodes set to air weekly.
