Former Manchester United and Ireland football star Roy Keane made it onto the new series of Mastermind, featuring among the specialist subjects chosen by the first batch of contestants of the TV quiz, which aired on Monday evening.
The other specialist subjects in the episode were 15th-century King Edward IV, the band Depeche Mode, and the films of Yorgos Lanthimos.
With Clive Myrie returning to host, the popular TV quiz show sees four hopeful contestants demonstrate the extent of their general knowledge before the winner is decided to go on to the next round.
