A UK supermarket chain has issued a recall of an ice cream flavoured like a viral chocolate bar which could pose a health risk to some customers.
Lidl Northern Ireland has issued a recall for 1001 Delights Dubai Style Pistachio Ice Cream, the Food Standard Agency shared on Wednesday, July 15. The recall is because the sweet treat contains cashew nuts which are not mentioned on the label.
The 300g 1001 Delights Dubai Style Pistachio Ice Cream with the best before date of December 8, 2027 has been recalled.
The FSA notice reads: “This product contains cashew (nuts) making it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to cashews.

“Lidl are recalling the above product.
“Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling this product.
“These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product.”
