Maddie Ingoldsby, who has performed in Forest Holme Hospice Charity’s fundraising ‘Strictly Extravaganza’ events, has been named as one of the new professional dancers joining the BBC show.
A spokesperson for Forest Holme Hospice said: “We are absolutely delighted for Maddie and couldn’t be more pleased to see her achieve this incredible milestone.
“She has been a wonderful supporter of our Strictly Extravaganza from the very beginning, giving so much of her time and talent to help raise funds for Forest Holme Hospice.
“We know she’ll be a fantastic addition to the professional line-up and we’ll all be cheering her on.”
Ms Ingoldsby won the charity’s 2023 competition alongside contestant Jason Edwards, performing a waltz to the theme from Schindler’s List.
She returned for the 2025 event, continuing to inspire with her professionalism and passion.
Earlier this month, the ‘Strictly Extravaganza’ was named Special Event of the Year at the Emma Awards, earning national acclaim.
Fans of the fundraiser can already start planning ahead, as tickets are now on sale for the 2027 edition.
Hosted at Lighthouse Poole on Saturday, January 23, 2027, the evening includes a drinks reception, three-course gala dinner with wine, and spectacular dance.
This event raises vital funds for Forest Holme Hospice Charity, which provides specialist palliative and end-of-life care across Dorset.
