A man in his 40s has died following an incident at a construction site in Co Roscommon this morning.
The incident happened at around 9am at the workplace in Boyle.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body has since been removed to the mortuary at Roscommon University Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
Gardaí and emergency services were at the scene and the local coroner and the Health and Safety Authority has been notified.
