The death has occurred peacefully of John Scott after a very short illness, in the great care of the doctors, nurses and staff at Sligo University Hospital.
John, predeceased by his beloved wife Mary.
Loving father of Paul and Philip (New Zealand).
He will be sadly missed by his sons, his adored grandchildren Callum, Lucas, Jessica, Aidan and Thomas, daughters-in-law Ciara and Katie, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at his residence (F91 K4KH) on Friday 31st July 2026 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
Funeral will arrive at St. Colmcille’s Church, Rathcormack, Sligo on Saturday 1st August 2026 at 12:00pm for Requiem mass with funeral proceeding to Sligo Cemetery for burial after.
