Night-time water restrictions are being introduced in parts of Tralee and Fenit tonight.
Uisce Éireann is renewing its appeal to conserve water, saying increased use in Kerry means supplies are being used faster than water can be treated and stored in local reservoirs.
Night-time restrictions will be in place in the Ballymullen, Clash and Cloghers area of Tralee, and they’ll also be in Fenit.
These will begin from 7 o’clock tonight and will remain in place until 7am tomorrow.
