Dublin Fire Brigade are working to bring a wildfire in the Glencullen area of Dublin under control.
Over 25 emergency workers are at the scene along with four fire engines, two water tankers, a wildland firefighting jeep and a drone unit.
Residents in the area are asked to please keep doors and windows closed if they are affected by smoke.
The Irish Aer Corps and Executive Helicopters are also on scene and assisting in firefighting operations and have requested that no drones are flown in the area.
Local Independent Councillor Michael Fleming Fleming from Dún Laoghaire/Rathdown has warned that the fire is coming dangerously close to several homes and local businesses this evening.
Glencullen Tidy District has posted on Facebook to call for help in digging fire drains on the Ballybrack Road in Glencullen near the Stars of Erin GAA Club.
