A diver has been brought to hospital after being recovered by a lifeboat at the Blasket islands.
Valentia coast guard said it received a 999 call at around 12:30pm today about a missing diver in a cave on Inis Tuaisceart, also known as Fear Marbh or Dead Man island due to its appearance.
It is the northern-most of the Blasket Islands.
The Rescue 115 helicopter and Fenit RNLI were tasked to the rescue.
The diver was recovered by the lifeboat and transferred to University Hospital Kerry.
