A motorcyclist in his 50s has died following a road traffic collision in Co Cork.
The incident involving a motorbike and van occurred at 2.30pm on the R587 near Gloun North, Dunmanway, Co Cork.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries have been reported.
The road was closed for examination by forensic collision investigators but has since reopened.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.
Any road users travelling in the area between 2.15pm and 3.00pm who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make it available to gardaí.
