Rapper Megan Thee Stallion has teased the release of a new music project.
The 31-year-old American artist, whose real name is Megan Pete, shared a string of photographs on social media, including one of her wearing white micro shorts and a matching bob with the words “Act III” written on her back.
Another photograph revealed the words “I’m back” written on her body, teasing what appears to be a follow-up to her 2024 deluxe record, Megan: Act II.
The caption only had two emojis, a snowflake and eyes, with fans flooding the comments section and suggesting the photographs represent Pete’s alter ego, Tina Snow – also the name of her 2018 EP.
In January, the Hiss rapper told People that she was working on new music and that she is “completing act three”, with the music due to be released before the end of the year.
The new music comes months after she announced she was leaving her role in the Broadway production of Moulin Rouge!.
The star was the first woman to play nightclub owner Zidler in the production’s history, having joined the show in March.
In 2020, she and fellow US rapper Cardi B had an international number one hit with WAP.
Megan Thee Stallion released her first album, Good News, in 2020, followed by 2022’s Traumazine and Megan in 2024, which she reissued as a deluxe album titled Megan: Act II.
In 2021, she picked up three Grammy Awards, including for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song for her song Savage with Beyoncé.
She was also named Best New Artist.
