Two Wexford ploughmen will represent Ireland at the European Vintage Ploughing Championships in Belgium this weekend.
Rathangan’s Jim Cullen, representing Wexford Ploughing, will compete in the Vintage Trailed Class, while fellow Wexford competitor James Stafford will take part in the Vintage Classic Class.
They will be joined on the Republic of Ireland Vintage Ploughing Team by Ray Clancy of North Tipperary Ploughing, who will compete in the Vintage Mounted Class.
The European Championships take place in Hamont-Achel, Belgium, on Saturday and Sunday, 15th and 16th August.
The Wexford representatives will be hoping to put in strong performances as they compete against some of Europe’s best vintage ploughmen.
