16 new Fleadh winners will make their way back to Kerry from Belfast today.
Alongside the batch of winners another 19 Kerry people notched a top three finish.
Kerry saw itself well represented in 26 categories.
16 Kerry winners and 19 top three finishers from the under 12s age group up to over 35s will make their way home today.
Michael O’Connor from Killarney came first in both the melodeon and button accordion categories for ages 12-15.
Alongside him Rian Gleeson from Killarney also placed first for scéalaíocht among 12-15 year olds.
Killarney saw further success with Team Marcus topping the 12 -15s mixed four-hand céilí dancing.
Spa took home top spot in three categories with Team Tríona winning the over 18s ladies full set, alongside Team Ann Marie topping the over 35s ladies full set, and Team Kate’s gold in eight-hand céilí dancing.
Kilcummin now boasts three Fleadh winners after Team Michael’s success in the under 12s mixed full set, Team Ann Marie’s top spot in the ladies under 12s full set and Michael Healy’s over 18s melodeon win.
The Angland family from Glenflesk claimed wins across two categories with Coleen Angland’s joy in the 15-18s flute slow airs and Seán’s win in the 12-15s piano.
Ruth Foley from Ballydonoghue Lisselton claimed gold in the 12-15s Banjo and Team Saoirse from Barr na Sráide topped the over 18s ladies four-hand céilí dancing.
Áine Ní Dhublainn from Craobh Thrá Lí claimed Gold in Scéalaíocht for ages 12-15.
